The town of Ledvice is located in the Ústí nad Labem Region, about 4 km north of the town of Bílina and 7 km southwest of the town of Teplice. Between the towns of Ledvice and Bílina, there is the Ledvice coal power plant.
The village of Ledvice dates back to the 13th century and the first written mention dates from 1209.
