Currently, the city has almost 7, 000 inhabitants. He is the founder of three primary schools and one art school. There is also a grammar school in the town. The city's subsidized organizations are the retirement home, the Vážka home for children and youth, and HOME CARE. Exchange offices and money institutions are in the city center, as well as most institutions: the Czech Police, the Municipal Police, the Office of State Social Support, and the Labor Office. A polyclinic and a pharmacy are not far from the center. Mimoň has train and bus connections with other cities.
