The town of Železný Brod is located in the Liberec Region, about eleven kilometers southeast of the district town of Jablonec nad Nisou. The town is located on both banks of the river Jizera and its location on the border of the Bohemian Paradise, the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains directly predestines it as an ideal starting point for exploring the region.
