The village of Čistá is located in the district of Mladá Boleslav in the Central Bohemian Region. It is laid at an altitude above sea level
280 m above sea level and its area is 897.9 ha.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1352 and currently 828 inhabitants live here.
In the village there is a two-classroom kindergarten with a school canteen, a small-class elementary school for grades 1-5. You will also find a library, post office and restaurant here.
There is also a general practitioner's office in operation.
The historical buildings located here are also worth mentioning. This is the Church of St. Lawrence, the niche chapel of St. Prokop from 1735 and the niche chapel of P. Maria from the beginning of the 19th century, as well as a monument commemorating the killing of five men from Čistá and the surrounding area by a retreating German column at the end of World War II.
