We are a primary school with a first and second grade with a total capacity of 550 pupils. The school is established by the city of Benátky nad Jizerou and is a contributory organization. The school building was built during Austria-Hungary in the years 1886-1887 and on September 3, 1887 it was ceremoniously opened as a general three-class school. Our school educational program "School for Life" is built to suit all groups of students. Our school also includes four departments of the school group, intended primarily for pupils in the 1st to 4th year of the first grade. All pupils of our school have the opportunity to use meals in the school canteen. Our students visit a total of three buildings with classrooms equipped with interactive technology and an enclosed, well-equipped area with a playground and a running track with an artificial surface. Pupils and their parents can use the offered counseling help provided by an educational counselor. They can turn to it, for example, in solving various educational, beneficial and other problems, as well as with the issue of inclusive education in primary school and in solving problems associated with socially pathological phenomena in cooperation. The educational counselor also offers information on the admission procedure to grammar schools, secondary schools and vocational schools, as well as about the possibilities of further study and about other organizations that can provide pupils and their parents.
