Vermerovice 14, Vermerovice 561 52
The village of Verměřovice is located in the central part of the Ústí nad Orlicí district in the neighborhood of smaller towns in the district - Jablonného nad Orlicí (4 km) and Letohrad (6 km). Verměřovice has preserved an exclusively agricultural character until the present time. Along the stream of the Tiché Orlice, which flows through the village, the "Orlice" nature park has been declared. According to the geomorphological division, the territory belongs to the Podorlická pahorkatina unit, the Žamberská pahorkatina sub-unit, the Letohradská brána district.

The village was founded during the colonization of the Tiché Orlice basin at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. The first written report dates back to 1304.

A technical monument from the second half of the 19th century is a stone bridge from 1895, built of sandstone blocks from the quarry in Klášterec nad Orlicí, 29 m long and 4 m wide across the river Ticha Orlici in the upper part of the village.

In the village there is a church of St. John the Baptist from 1901. The church's inventory is valuable, especially the baroque statues of St. Jáchym and St. Anne and a small image of St. Sebastian and St. Rocha (around 1800).
