The village lies at the junction of two former district towns, Rychnov nad Kněžnou and Ústí nad orlicí.
The historical core of Potštejn is "Městečko" with the church of St. Lawrence exhibited in the years 1815-1821,
fountain and statue of St. Florian (1827).

Divoká Orlice Valley with a memorable linden alley, Anenský údolí, Modlivý dol, where the memorial plaque commemorates the work of the Czech Brothers, the surrounding hills with Velešov, where there are remains of a fortress from the middle of the fourteenth century.

but also other restaurant and accommodation capacities contributing to the provision
and the full satisfaction of visitors to Potštejn.
