The village of Bor u Skutče is located in the district of Chrudim on the edge of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the middle of the Toulovcovy maštale nature reserve. It is located at an altitude of 477 m above sea level and its area is 435 hectares. The first written mention of the village dates from 1559. At present, Bor has 139 permanent residents.
