The village of Pohled, which includes the settlement and local parts of Rouštany and Svatá Anna – Samoty, is located 4 km east of Havlíčková Brod and 8 km northwest of Přibyslav in the district of Havlíčkův Brod in the Czech part of Vysočina, on both sides of the river Sázava. Currently, approx. 736 inhabitants.

The first written mention of the settlement dates from 1265.

The volunteer fire brigade, TJ Sokol Pohled, Myslivecký spolek Pohled, Czech Gardening Association are active in the village
Pohled Pensioners Club, Pohled Cultural Group, Czech Red Cross, Association of Parents, Children and Friends of the Pohled Village.

Landmarks of the village:
- Baroque statue of Jan Nepomuck from 1711
- rectory from 1714, built according to the plans of J.B. Santini
- Church of St. Anne from 1766 with 14 chapels of the Way of the Cross and the chapel above the miraculous spring from 1824.
