The village of Hrabětice is located in the Znojmo district on the direct route Brno-Vienna, about 6 km from the Hevlín-Laa border crossing.
The first mention of the village of Hrabětice appeared in the vassal tax of the count of Hardegg already in 1417. This was followed by mentions from 1443 and especially from 1449.
The number of inhabitants in the village is about 900.
