We are a purely Czech company with long-time tradition in the field of drive engineering. Mechanical engineering production was started in 1970. At that time, the TOS ZNOJMO company was a part of the well-known TOS KURIM national enterprise and production was focused on components for machine tools. After completion of building of a branch plant in Druzstevni street in 1978, the TOS ZNOJMO name first appeared on drive engineering market, thanks to launching of variator production.
In 1992, the new legal entity TOS ZNOJMO, joint-stock company, was established within the privatization. The privatization process was completed in 1997.

The company’s production was initially focused on manufacturing of variators, variable-speed gearboxes, milling heads and feed boxes with variator, including spare parts. Mainly due to continuous development of trends and customers' requirements in the machine industry, it was necessary to modify the specialization. Currently, the company specializes chiefly in batch production of gearboxes.
Our activity is not limited only to the EU. Products from our factory are exported to the whole world, either directly or through our network of official representatives.
We are able to meet wishes and requirements of any customer. Whether it is a one-piece contract for individual person or big contracts for large companies.
A supplementary program is production of individual parts and components not only for the drive engineering, but also for other sectors.
It is also worth mentioning that we are able to provide calculation, production and measurement of bevel sets of gears with straight and curved teeth. Primarily it should be pointed out that we, as one of few domestic companies, are able to provide bevel sets of gears with curved teeth (Gleason) in GROUND VERSION.
