The trade union has been a member of the Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions since 1990, through which we participate in tripartite negotiations and are represented in the Working Team of the Economic and Social Agreement Council for the Internal Market.
The basic mission of the trade union is to protect and support the employment and trade union rights of its members and to defend their labor law, wage, social and cultural interests. We represent employees of all professions in the hospitality, hotel and tourism industry.
ČMOS PHCR is a member of the European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism (EFFAT) at the European sectoral trade union level, which represents 120 national trade unions from 35 European countries and defends the interests of more than 2.6 million trade unionists and at the same time fulfills the function of a social partner towards the European confederation employers (HOTREC) and towards the authorities of the European Union.
