Our self-employed MO with a membership base of about two hundred fishermen (incl. Youth) belongs to the smaller organizations in the Central Bohemian region.
From an economic point of view, until 2005 we belonged to the larger producers of carp, pikeperch and hatchery fry, intended for stocking the districts of (not only) the Central Bohemian region. At that time, our MoD managed 23 hectares of breeding ponds. Since 2005, we have managed only 9 hectares, which, although the production is enough to stock our area, do not allow us to regularly supply fry and hatchery fish to a greater extent in the surrounding areas.
We provide rental of a cottage in Orlík just a few meters from the water.
