Eliška Purkyňová Home for the Elderly (DpsEP) is a contributory organization founded by the capital city of Prague. The main subject of activity is care for the elderly according to the Act on Social Services. The home provides seniors with a residential service, a relief service and the service of a Home with a special regime in two buildings in Prague 6 - in a building in Cvičebná 2447/9 Street and in a building in Thákurova Street 10.
Retirement home:
Long-term stay for seniors who have reduced self-sufficiency, mainly due to age, and whose situation requires regular help from another person.
Department with special regime:
Residential service for seniors who cannot live in a natural home environment even with the support of family, loved ones and social services.
Relief service:
Residential service for seniors, who are otherwise cared for in their natural environment, is provided for a pre-arranged (designated) period, when the carer cannot take care of it temporarily.
