The village of Ostrožská Lhota is located on the edge of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area, it belongs to the Slovácko region and the Microregion
Ostrožsko - Veselsko.

It is located in a valley at the lower course of the river Okluky, below the top of Antonín Hill with the pilgrimage site of Svatý Antonínek.

The first written mention of Ostrožská Lhota dates back to 1371, from the time of Emperor Charles IV, when the Moravian Margrave Jan Jindřich bequeathed the Ostrožská estate to his son Soběslav.

At present, the village covers an area of 635 hectares and has 1464 permanent residents.

In the village there is a primary and kindergarten, library, museum, multipurpose playground, hospitality, grocery store and parish. There is also a health center and a post office.

There is also a tennis and tourist club, SK Ostrožská Lhota and other interest organizations.

Ostrožská Lhota is connected to the network of Moravian cycle paths. It connects the village with the neighboring towns of Hluk and Uherský Ostroh, from where you can discover other beauties of our region along marked trails.
