Bystročice village.
History
As evidenced by archaeological findings, the beginnings of the settlement of today's municipalities Bystročice and Žerůvek to the Neolithic period - younger Stone Age. Thanks to favorable climatic conditions and fertile loess soil, the region was also inhabited in the late Bronze and Hallstatt periods for a long time. Throughout the millennium people lived here many different cultures - such as linear, Moravian painted, bell-shaped cups, trash cans, La Tene, probably also Roman ...
The oldest surviving mention of the village itself Žerůvky dates from 1078. This mention is found in the foundation charter of the monastery Hradiska near Olomouc, where the village is listed as a monastery property. The village remained in his possession until 1784. The first written record of Bystročice is slightly older - it dates back to 1131. It is a document, which the Olomouc Chapter confirmed that the village owns a homestead. According to this and other oldest reports, Bystročice had several owners. In the middle of the 13th century, the town of Olomouc was one of the most important owners of the village. By this event, the fates of neighboring municipalities joined together. Bystročice belonged to Hradisko until the 18th century. The monastery also had a courtyard in two villages, which in 1481 gave for an annual salary to hereditary possession of John of Bystročice and his wife Dorota ...
