The village of Želechovice is located near the town of Uničov in the Olomouc Region. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1078, but as evidenced by archaeological finds, the area was inhabited much earlier. Currently, there are about 230 inhabitants and is a typical agricultural village in Haná.
