Obec Bušín

The village is a residence with a long history, mention of it is from 1490. The name of the village (German Buschin) is derived from a personal name, probably from Bus, Bus or Bus. The sign is a perpendicularly built blade, which is accompanied by seven stars on the sides. The village lies predominantly at an altitude of about 350 m, in an elongated valley around the Bušínský stream, the valley forms a divide between the Hanušovická Highlands and Zábřeh Highlands. The highest hills in the area have a height of about 600 m. Part of the village, Hartíkov settlement, is picturesquely situated on a hill about 2 km from Bušín at an altitude of about 500 m. This settlement is currently mostly recreational character. Bušín has 425 inhabitants. The cadastre of the village consists mainly of agriculturally cultivated land and forests. Bus No. I / 11 Hradec Kralove - Ostrava passes through busin, providing good transport connections to all places in the area, with frequent bus connections to nearby towns. Hartíkov is connected to the village by a separate road in the settlement ending.
The village is independent with its own municipal office. Together with the union of the Ruda region, gasification was performed in the village. The citizens' life is served by a primary school for 1-4 years and a kindergarten, a health center with daily operation, two grocery stores, one with a week-long sale, production and sale of sausage products, CLUB wine bar, hairdresser. Free internet is available to the public in the local Bušín Library.
For the cultural enjoyment of citizens serves a cultural house, which is administered by the village, used for social and private events and a nice natural area "on Kořínek" with the possibility of cultural and sports use. Behind the cultural facilities, there is a playground with a table tennis table for the youngest children.
It is worth seeing and cultural monuments - the exchanger of the former magistrate no. 124 from the beginning of the 19th century, the Holy Trinity sculpture by the House of Culture, the 18th century Calvary sculpture, the busts of T.G.Masaryk and J.A.Komenský in the park of the former school and a monument to the fallen of both world wars, located at the end of the village. The dominating feature of the village is the Chapel of the Painful Virgin Mary from the 18th century.
The village has, due to its location and terrain in the surroundings, ideal conditions for all kinds of tourism using agricultural and forest roads, both in summer and winter and is a good starting point for a wide area with intact nature.
