Karlova Studánka is the highest village in the Bruntál district (800 m above sea level). It is the gateway to the second highest peak in the Czech Republic - Praděd (1492 m above sea level). In these places there are also the most attractive nature trails, hiking and skiing trails in Hrubý Jeseník.
The priority of Karlova Studánka is the spa, which stood at the birth of the village, almost 200 years old. Thanks to its ideal geographical location in the middle of the Jesenice mountains, this spa is known for its unique mountain climate and excellent mineral water, whose healing effects are shrouded in many legends. The village has about 250 permanent residents, however, each year the population grows by another 300-400 people. They are mostly patients and vacationers who go here to heal and relax. And how can you get to Karlova Studánka? Roads lead in three directions and from all major cities in the area it is the same distance. The distance from the district town of Bruntál, Rýmařov or Jeseník is about 25 km.
